Bronze
Quill Awards
The Bronze
Quill Awards program recognizes excellence in business communication
throughout Louisiana. Entries are judged by communication
professionals in out-of-state IABC chapters, and multiple judges
evaluate each entry against a five-step standard, using a
seven-point scale. Judges may award the following:
Bronze Quill
The best entry within a category, the Bronze Quill is the top honor
an entry can receive. It is bestowed on work that truly stands out.
Except in the case of a tie, only one Bronze Quill is awarded in a
category and only if an entry consistently scores a 5 or above
against all benchmarks.
Award of
Excellence
This honor is given for a work product or program that in addition
to having achieved its established goals, exhibits originality,
creativity and excellent effectiveness of implementation. Entries
receiving this award must attain an average score of 5 or above.
Award of Merit
This honor is given for a work product or program that achieved its
established goals through the use of quality materials and
consistency of messages. Entries awarded this honor must average 4.5
or better.
